    ctd when doing a dir-to

    I'm running the demo I have the client installed on my networked machine and the server on my p3d machine. Whenever I do a DIR-To  on my client efb2 my p3d crashes .

     

    The  error I see int he event viewer of my server machine is

    whenever I'm around mou and I do a dir-to in efb2 (latest build) molus p3d stops responding  and crashes right away.

    thanks for sending the logfiles. I can see a lot of exceptions of type "0xC000014B". See here for further details on this topic: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=145.

    I can also see that a utility runs which auto-saves FSX status every 5 minutes. Am I right? I don't know how many other add-ons are simultaneously running that might have an impact on either FSX or SimConnect.

    Hi,

     

    the utility auto saving flights is fsuipc. The addons that I have running at the same time are efb,radar contact and as2012 and track ir and ezdok .

     

    It seems that FSX is somehow "overloaded" from time to time and then it freezes or crashes. As a result of this also EFB DataProvider crashes

     

     

    Usually efb crashes first.Sometimes fsx does not even crash.

    I have been getting this error for awhile now. Not sure why but out of the blue the data provider stops working.Sometimes before it stops working my sim starts stuttering and then bang the data provider goes dead. I ignored it for awhile because i thought it was something else but now it is happening very often.

     

    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi Vic,

     

    As you've got the UK2000 scenery for City they'll be no need to have the entries in the runways.txt file at all a the runways are up-to-date in the scenery. Try removing its entries from the runways file and try again.

    I get an error message if i remove the entries because efb looks for runways 27,09 but there are only runways 28/10 so I had to change the numbers as per the instructions in the efb manual

    I noticed somebody else got the very same error. I guess I will have to ignore it for now ?
