  1. Hi Travis,

    Thank you for your answers.

does the white background only occur in the profile view or in the plan view as well?

    Only in the profile view

What OS are your running and have you changed your default PC colour settings??

I run EFB on a networked laptop with Vista, and i'm using "Windows standard" colour scheme to save a bit of power ;)

You are right if I switch back to "windows Vista Basic" colour scheme, I don't have anymore this issue.

When there is no traffic, we don't see if the button has been pushed or not. Is there any graphic solution to see if the button has been already pushed?

And guess what? It solved also my second issue. As moving back to "windows Vista Basic" colour scheme, I'm now able to see a yellow square arounf TRFC button.

With "windows standard" colour scheme, nothing is changing when we push a button, so it is not possible to see if the button is on or off.

PS: with a yellow square around the button a [TRFC] label is not needed in my opinion

So now I'm back to "Window Vista Basic" scheme

Thank you very much both "issues" are solved :)

    Cheers

    Louis

  2. Hi Pilots,

After some flights with this great piece of software, I want to congratulate Urs !

EFB is, in my opinion, really close to be perfect :)

2 small details may have to be addressed, more related to ease of use than solving bugs:

    - In the approach view, the background of the "profile view" is still white when we use "night" parameters (difficult to see information, white on white)

-In the progress view, clicking on TRFC make traffic appear and desappear. When we have traffic around we can see plane(s) on the map appearing and desapearing if we click several times.

When there is no traffic, we don't see if the button has been pushed or not. Is there any graphic solution to see if the button has been already pushed?

    Once again congratulations.

Now, Urs, I want to have the same software in my C172 G1000 for real :)

    Cheers

    Louis

  3. Hi all, good news

After yesterday FSX crash on short final, I have done again my LFRB - LFPO flight on IVAO => good news ... no crash

Only difference is FSCommander was not on (I don't know if it was important or not) and I kept unlimited fps in FSX settings.

    FYI:

Active sky Evo and EFB display are running on a separate networked PC.

IVAP, TeamSpeak, FSAirline and FS2crew on the main PC

Thank you for this great piece of software !

    Louis

  4. Thanks for your quick answer and your advice

As of now, I was using at the same time during the "crashed" flight:

    - Active Sky, Ivap, FSairline, TS, some goflight modules

    - unlimited fps

    - no AI traffic

    - no other running pgm (at least known :)

Let me try a flight without all these addon, with frame locked at 25 /s

    Louis

PS: EFB display is running on a remote computer

  5. Hi,

I'm testing this great piece of software, I'm very impressed.

Unfortunatly I encounter the same issue : Crash with EFB running - Exception from HRESULT: 0xC000014B

I was flying PMDG 4100 from LFRB to LFPO, and the crash happened in very short final after around 90 min flight... frustrating

It was my first flight using EFB.

I'll try tomorrow using fsxflyer procedure

    I'll let you know

    Louis

PS: is their any chance that this issue is link to EFB display changing automatically the map scale (from departure to enroute or in my case from approach to ground) ?
