  1. Fully fine, thanks Urs!

Even this one is still "no really super finished" product, I mean which 3rd party is for the MSFS right now, and I did not expected that you already have an API etc for that. :)

REX WeatherForce 2020 is the new product for the MSFS from REX and still quite limited in his functions due to the fact that teh SDK is still not open.

I do have EFB running on "live weather" for now which is quite the same. :)

    Hi Florian,

EFB is using the procedures data from the "normal" AIRAC cycle 2011, rev. 1. It has nothing changed in this regard.

The "new" MSFS Beta cycle 2011, rev. 7 provides MSFS with new navdata (procedures, ILS data, COM frequencies, other navaids, markers).

So you have to install both.

The flight plan cannot be set/updated in the simulator as long as the simulator is not running. It is recommended to create/update the flight plan in EFB while the simulator is running.

However, you may do your flight planning work before the simulator is running, but then you have to make at least one change to the flight plan as soon as the simulator is running to enforce loading of the flight plan into the simulator.

    Thanks!

  3. Hey, I hope it´s not already answered - as I don´t found it.

    1.)
Should I install the "normal" 2011 Rev.1 Airac into the EFB or do I need to install the Beta 2011 Rev.7 Airac which is running in MSFS into the EFB?

    2.)

I red all the posts of loading flight plans, THANKS.

One small understanding thingi ... is there any restriction in FIRST do the flightplan in the EFB and SECONDLY start the sim?!
Or doenst matter?! (I understoff that we can change the plan all the time during flight - I mean the first startup)

    Thanks in advance!

    Best,

    Florian
