Hello
I mainly fly PMDG aircraft. I create a flight plan in EFB and export in .rte format which I then import into the PMDG aircraft FMC.
All this works well, however sometimes when I look at the flight plan within the FMC I see the need to make modifications.
This I do and save using the FMC save function as a .rte file. How do I then import the .rte flight plan back into EFB ?
Alternatively how can I modify the EFB flight plan to match that now entered into the FMC ? The EFB flight plan does not seem able to accept
any changes after it's creation ie a change of waypoint or addition of a waypoint.
I use Prepar3Dv4 as the SIM.

Hello
Problem solved.
For me the Scenery folder is not C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX , but the installation folder
which for me is C:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X .
As soon as I pointed to that folder PFPX worked as intended.
Thanks & regards

Hello
Just downloaded demo copy.
Having read the FAQ on this I am still having problems, perhaps I should say straight away I have ORBX scenery installed which may have
caused EFB problems.
Anyway my FSX installation folder is C:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X so that is used in EFB Data Provider Settings / Installation Folder.
Next comes C:\Users\1234\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files As the Flight Plan Folder.
Finally C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX is the Scenery.cfg Folder.
Cannot see what I am doing wrong, any suggestion very welcome.
Worth adding that I have Prepar3D v4 installed and that works just fine using the same method as I have for FSX

Importing flight plan into EFB
in EFB v1 (Read only, no longer supported)

Many thanks.
I had thought importing .rte files was not possible, shame.
Yes I knew about the "Modify " button but having created the flight plan it is not possible to vary / add waypoints in the same way as I can
in the PMDG FMC. . Never mind I enjoy EFB .
Kind regards
