Sounds good. I am glad I could figure out how to get you the files. It was a royal pain to figure out. Thanks for the prompt reply and fix.

Urs I encountered this issue again however I was not able to create a set of support files as the client is completely inoperable when this happens. I will include a screenshot and the clientlogfile. I landed at my airport and I am currently trying to get it to respond and I got it to create a support file. It went back to inoperable within a moments notice of getting it to work.

When it happens again Urs I will try.

During load of an airport without weather. It fails then enters a loop and constantly gives an error till it is closed. The log file is this. When the client is reopened it does not do the loop error.

I just restarted the client just to try and it worked this time. It wasn't working initially but it works now...... 😕

Maybe I did not state my reason for posting here. I typed the .air file exactly as it is in the folder but the EFB does not recognize it. The MaddogX expansion is md-83-88.air and i typed it as md-83-88 and it does not recognize it.
-
I am having issues with setting the .air file for the MaddogX. I found the file it is in C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\MaddogX\SimObjects\Airplanes\MaddogX88 but the pdf says they usually are in the root folder\SimObjects\Airplanes maybe I am missing something here.
Thanks!

The airports do not use a METAR at all. Maybe with the VATSIM INJECTION ActiveSky is creating a METAR and it doesn't know how to read it? I do not know.
My post is signed see below.

I did a cross the pond type flight from KMSP to LIRF. Every 10 minutes I got two warnings of
Warning: Could not get ICAO from METAR: No METAR available for EGWC. RMK VATSIM INJECTION.
Warning: Could not get ICAO from METAR: No METAR available for EGOW. RMK VATSIM INJECTION.
I understand that it could not get it but does it need to tell me every 10 minutes that it couldn't get it?

Is there a way to correlate the aircraft with their vatsim flight plan to display the destination like in V1?
Thanks,
-
I have searched and I was unable to find a post about this. I have noticed with vpilot connected and I am seeing aircraft having a destination of 1234 and not their actual destination. Is there a specific reason for this with FSUIPC maybe or with the EFB?
Thanks

I have been experiencing some issue with the traffic as well. I have them on the ground, I have them near the ground but I sometimes lose them at high altitude. I have the filter set to 99999, and -99999 so that isnt the issue. i have fsuipc set to 110 miles and vpilot is set to 100 miles. The traffic monitor shows one thing and the display shows nothing.
-
I have a request for the traffic filters to have the option to show all traffic not just within 9,999 feet like in EFBv1.
Thanks,
Tim

Urs,
Any info on the VATSIM files?
Will V2 use a different way to show controllers area and such?
Thanks,
Tim
-
I do not unfortunately.

Is there any chance to get updated VATSIM files since they haven't been updated in 4 years?
Thanks,
Tim
Hide specific aircraft from Snapshot

I want to suggest to hide a specific aircraft from the snapshot. For instance my aircraft is still shown via the snapshot.
