Urs, did you already test if the FSUIPC interface will avoid the stutters experienced with v1 and the NGX? Thanks.

Hi, any news about fixing this problem? Yesterday I was doing an approach with the NGX and got stutters every 2-3 seconds. I turned the VSD off and the stutters remained, got rid of them only after shutting down the data provider (I have the display unit on a networked computer). Thanks.

Thanks, Urs, I wrote in the SODE forum as well and am waiting for a reply. I can't understand why they can't work together, it's like the data provider prevents SODE from remaining connected to the sim through simconnect.

[EFB and SODE not working together]

Hi, I have the data provider on the main P3D computer (v3.3.5) and the display unit on a laptop, networked with the main computer. I found that if I have the data provider active, as soon as I activate a SODE jetway I get the message that SODE has disconnected and the jetway can't operate. If I shut down the data provider, SODE works back. I tried to change the communication port between data provider and display unit (default is 51747) but nothing changes. Any clue about this issue? EFB and SODE interfere with each other? Thanks.

SUCCESS, Problem solved!

 

Thanks to Urs and his assistance, I was able to solve the issue. Strangely, the issue resulted from the LIPX.bgl file being installed in the wrong location. This made it impossible for EFB to find the necessary data to display the SIDS. I moved the bgl file to the correct location and all is fine now.

 

I must thank Urs for his guidance for without his effort I would have never found the problem.

 

Hi, could you please tell me what LIPX.bgl file you are referring to and in which folder it should be? I don't have LIPX.bgl and I have the problem of SIDs not showing, too. Thanks.
