ahuimanu Posted March 10, 2023 Share Posted March 10, 2023 Hi, lately I have noticed that if I use the real-weather data source (NOAA I think), that the reports are commonly two or more hours old. This might soon be moot as I'll be able to use ActiveSkyXP again in XP12, but I thought I'd point this out. Been noticing the behavior for about a month now. As you already mentioned, it's the weather data which is downloaded from NOAA. When I have a look in this file I can clearly see that there are airports which provide METAR very close to real time, and there are airports which have a delay more than 1 hour.
