john harris
Gents, the latest Navigraph (2102R2) has been issued recently. I have tried, through the Navigraph data manager to update Aivlasoft EFB2, but I cannot get it to download and update. All other aircraft and addons update to R2. any assistance is welcome ;) See screenshot also. rgds John.
KiloJuliett
The Update of the EFB DB needs to be done via the DbBuilder. Refer to Manual 4 Database, §2.4.
john harris
KJ, thanks, but you have missed the point. the shot is of the navigraph revision 2, not the updating of the database in Aivlasoft. I have to have the new revision downloaded before I can update the database rgds John
lonewulf47
John, I still fail to understand what you mean. My Navigraph FMS Data Manager shows exactly the same entry and when hovering over the "2102 rev 1" it shows "the most recent revision is installed". So I'm not sure whether there is a revision 2 for the EFB 2.0 dataset. At least the Data Manager is NOT aware of a rev 2. In any case if the rev 2 SHOULD be available or EFB 2.0, you must address this inquiry to Navigraph. We are not involved in setting up Navigraph Datasets. aivlasoft
Hi John, maybe the target folder is not properly set? Did you already read this one from the FAQs: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3069-navdata-installation-paths/
KiloJuliett
A revision of the same data cycle is usually only issued if there was an issue with the package in question. This seems not to be the case for the EFB 2.0 one, so everything is fine. E.g. for my FSLabs Airbus, also no second revision of the cycle 2102 has been issued.
