Chris22
Hi, I have just updated the new update for EFB v2. However, this means I can now see myself twice on the map: the Default Aircraft (pink) and my online Aircraft (red) slightly delayed behind. For now this doesn't cause any trouble. but in the future, during group flights or during peaks, it could be confusing. I know this can be tricky as you import the Network info, but would there be any option or work around this? Thank you! aivlasoft
Hi Christopher, 4 hours ago, Chris22 said: I know this can be tricky as you import the Network info, but would there be any option or work around this? Yes, there is already a way to prevent this. As described in the manual "5 EN Client.pdf", chapter 13, you have to enter your callsign when you create your EFB flight plan (Create flight plan, step 2). As soon as EFB "knows" your callsign, it can filter your own AI-Aircraft symbol.

klm712
I've the same problem since the latest update. I never use the EFB2 flightplan creator . I export a flightplan from PFPX and after selecting a route in EFB2 i never used to fill in a Callsign. I've to do that now after the latest update. I always use the same Callsign, is there a way to activate that automaticailly? Regards, Ad
aivlasoft
Hi Ad, the callsign will be saved and automatically used with the next flight plan, so you only have to enter it once.

klm712
Hi Urs, I did 2 flights and the callsign hasn't been saved and automatically used. I've stil the same problem, seeing myself twice. In which file will the callsign be saved, perhaps i can do it manually. I'm running P3D4.5 with he the latest hotfix and Windows10 EFB2 in a network configuration: Master and Client. I hope you've a solution. Regards, Ad
aivlasoft
Ad, did you create a new flight plan using the flight plan creator of EFB?
klm712
Urs, No, i load flightplans in EFB2 which are created by PFPX. EFB2 reads them. Did that for years, but after the latest update the callsign problem started. Just trying to find a solution I'll do 2 new flights and will create the flightplans using the EFB2 flight plan creator. Keep you informed. Regards, Ad
klm712
Urs, The first flight went well, i didn't see myself twice in EFB2. But during the second flight i've the same problem again, it's very annoying. Is there no way to save my callsign in an *.ini file or something like that? aivlasoft
Hi Ad, that's weird. If you create a flight plan using the built-in flight plan creator and you have entered the callsign in step 2, then the callsign will be saved after activating the flight plan. I have no idea why this is not working on your computer. But anyway, the callsign is saved in the file "globalSettings.txt" in the Server's data folder under "Settings". klm712
Hi Urs, I've set and saved my callsign in "globalSettings.txt" and now it's working fine. I did 2 flights last evening no double entry anymore. Thanks for your help and have a nice weekend. Regards, Ad
