michaelfairburn
Hey guys, When I load some of my saved flight plans into EFB I get a double asterisk (**) in front of some of the waypoints (see screenshot). I've searched the documentation, the Internet, and these forums, but can't find any explanation of why this might be. Does anyone have any ideas? aivlasoft
Hi Michael (?) Please comply with the forum rules and sign your posts with your real first name. Thanks. A saved flight plan might be outdated soon, especially when some of the included waypoints do no longer exist in the currently loaded AIRAC cycle. If EFB detects such a waypoint, all the waypoints are marked with *. I suggest to create the flight plan from scratch using the waypoints (and airways) from the current AIRAC cycle. michaelfairburn
Hi Urs, Many thanks for the swift response. The waypoints that are marked with the double asterisks (**) are still in the current cycle (1813). If I add another SID or STAR to the flightplan these waypoints come up as normal and I have to delete the ones with the **. Mike
KiloJuliett
Michael, then you saved the route accidentially with the SID/STAR waypoints included. Revise the route so it doesn't include SID/STAR waypoints and you will be able to use it with successive AIRACs (if the routes and waypoints remain the same).
