flyaway7400
Hello, Twice now, when I start flying, using FSX and online with IVAO, IVAP stops working and I have to stop the Server and then restart IVAP. This only started since installing EFB 2.0.
KiloJuliett
Hi Henk What exactly means "start flying"? Running the sim, moving the aircraft, becoming airborne? Did you try a flight or two with EFB no running to verify it's really an issue linked to EFB?
flyaway7400
Hi Jonas, Start flying, in start taxi or take off from the runways. This evening IVAP stopped working after about 5 minutes taxiing and I stopped on the taxi way. Stopped the EFB server and started IVAP again and completed my flight of about 2 hours. Hope that helps? KiloJuliett
Hi Henk Can you please create a set of support files (https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/) and upload them here, or alternatively send them to support(at)aivlasoft(dot)com. flyaway7400
Hi Jonas, Herewith the two files: Client_201812092229.txt.zip Server_201812092228.txt.zip
KiloJuliett
Henk I can't see anything unusual from EFB beeing done. Maybe there was an issue hidden already in your IVAP installation? Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with this client. Do you know if IVAP also uses FSUIPC? I would anyway recommend to update FSUIPC to the latest version available for FSX. It looks like you don't have that one yet. Can you confirm and try after the latest FSUIPC version installed?
barrendrop
I think its IVAO problem as they are working on improving their systems, yesterday I was using EFB v1 as my trial has ended with V2 and I am waiting payday to upgrade, and it happened on that too, had to stop and close the EFB IVAO connection and then restart it an then all the controllers and aircraft were back

I always use the same server on IVAO. But I have switched the logfile on for IVAP and that may show up any errors or problems. I will also check for any update for FSUIPC and if so, install that. Hi Jonas, I have upgraded FSUIPC from 4.792 to 4.794 and had no problems today. Thank you for the support.
