So I created a new database but i received the above mentioned message. I have no idea and i cannot use my EFB. What's wrong? Please help me. (please observe the forum rules) In any such case please report the Build# of Server and Client and provide a set of Support Files. Both desktop Icons for Server and Client are are automatically used with full Admin.Rights. De system is looking for the file magdec.bgl. When I install the path to that file, there is much earlier a stop, looking for the Fsx.cfg. After installing scenery.cfg on that place, database building rolled somewhat further but stopped at writing Airports repository. I dont know how to solve that problem. Sincerely, Hans Weijers. Hi Hans, Welcome to the forum. It sounds a bit strange as all that you report here should happen automatically. Could you please provide a set of Support Files. Find the instructions here: https://forum.aivlasoft.com/topic/3046-how-to-create-a-support-file/ and post the files in this thread. We will then (hopefully) be able to analyze what happened to your installation. I would also be helpful to know which builds # you are currently using and which simulator exactly (FSX, FSX:SE). To inform you: I have a sophisticated computer with a very good videocard. Two screens and I use this computer only for flightsimulating. I installed: 1. FSX-Steam Edition. 2.AS16 for weather simulation. 3.Had installed an older version of EFB, but now removed for installation of EFB-V2. As Add-Ons: First of all: PMDG Boeing 747-400 latest edition. And as airports: All Mega Airports of Aerosft, All airports of Fly Tampa. All airports of FS Dreamteam and finally a few airports of Flightbeam. I flew nearly 3.000.000NM with the 747 of PMDG. If you check on the download page you will see that e.g. The Server Build is #59 (2.0.59) whereas the Client Build is #77 (2.0.77). The same figures are also shown on the Server and the Client windows in the Bottom Line. In nay case you should always install the latest builds. I dont know what t=did wrong but everything is working properly. At the of building the datbase I got the message: 3warnings and 0 errors. Is that OK? If there are warnings noted on the message panel, we might still need the Support files. Usually a warning appears if some scenery could not be found, but it does not have a direct influence on EFB v2 operation. Nevertheless it would be interesting to see the Server's Supportfile to check the nature of the warnings. Could you please create a Supportfile and post it here? In the original airport EKCH(Copenhagen Kastrup) of FsX there are three runways as in the real world. Also in the EFB there three runways on the groundscreen and in the database. After installation of the well designed EKCH of Fly Tampa I see from my cockpitwindow the runway 30/12, in the visual approach and it is also present in the FMC-database(ILS). After landing looking at the groundmap the black stripe of the concrete of runway 12/30 failes. It is also not possible to create a flightplan in EFB using runway 12/30. The data fail as well. There is no difference between version 1,* and 2.0. Possibly the cause is in the software of Tamapa. I send this message also to Tampa.
