So, unexpected errors may occur if you don't follow the manual. If the error return, please provide more detailed information (scenario used, exact status of the flight, what your last interaction with the application was, ...). EFB doesn't "just" crash. Maybe important, EFBv1 was installed, I have it too. But it's not uninstalled, and all folders I could find under %APPDATA%, both roaming and local, %PROGRAMDATA% and Documents were prior to installation of v2 deleted. 2) I did not read the manual previously, but it appears I did everything right, as the procedure to set things up didn't really change much from EFBv1. 3) I don't know if it'll return, I will have to re-do the flight / fly other flight. The flight was from LOWW to EDDN, and the message above popped up just after takeoff. EFBv2 Client didn't close though, so I don't know what this was. I also can't find anything in the Event Viewer. The scenario was quite simple: loaded the client, loaded the flight (FPL generated by PFPX), did everything like I did in EFBv1, as in setting up my DEP, taxi, Radios etc. Then I took off, and immediately after I rotated, the message appeared. I clicked Continue, and had no further errors. I can't really say what the last interaction was, but I guess it had something to do with the departure. Kosta Posted July 22, 2018 Author Share Posted July 22, 2018 OK, so I am not entitled to my own opinion, even if says so in the manual? I understand that it is new, but I still think it still has the same usability, the buttons maybe be somewhere else, or a different concept behind it, but to *use* it, I really didn't need a manual. What I used for my first flight was very intuitive, and very well done, and coming from EFBv1, everything was clear to me off the bat. This is why I bought it. Nevertheless, I did not read past Quickstart (yet). And the error above, might be a one time thing, it may not. Time will tell. I was merely reporting it.
