JLG
Hi, I really like v2 but I’m having a few issues, I hope someone can help: 1) in v1 there was a vatsim overlay, which showed the sectors covered by online ATC. Has that been removed? 2) whenever I click a button for a window which opens separately (all the options along the left), the window seems to open, and is there when I right click the client icon in the taskbar. But it does not appear! This is for all options. Proc, radio, dir to etc any ideas?

Has that been removed? No, this has not been removed, just changed a bit. Please read the manuals and please see the several topics in this forum where this has already been discussed. 5 hours ago, jonathanleegibbons said: 2) whenever I click a button for a window which opens separately (all the options along the left), the window seems to open, and is there when I right click the client icon in the taskbar. But I don't expect to find much therein, this seems to be a glitch of Windows10. Did you update to the latest update of Win10?
JLG
Thank you for the reply, ill reread the manual as I must have missed this from my first pass over though I did search for VATSIM on this forum and could not find anything. About Windows, yes its updated to the most recent version. Also my Nvidia drivers are current. Hardware is below, not sure it matters? i7 7700k Win 10 Titan XP Im running the server and client from the PC which P3D is installed (also current 4.3 version). I run 2 monitors, which im not sure matters however on a few of the windows which do open (FPL being one) it ALWAYS opens on my far left screen and halfway out of the border on the left (EFB is open on my right monitor). Additionally, when I then move the window to screen 2 to be above EFB, upon closing and reopening the EFB, the window position has not been saved. JLG
Thanks, I read that section and it connects to VATSIM, but there is still no overlay showing which signifies the area which a controller covers. EDIT - Sorted, there is an option in the Misc section I did not see. I am still having issues with Window placement though

Now it should open at the same place as you closed it and it should be the same size as before - Now close it again and exit the Client - Start the Client - Open the PROC window, and it hopefully opens at the same place with the same size If this does not work, then I have no idea why this should not work on your system. The window size and position is written to the "clientSettings.txt" file in the "Settings" folder within the Client-Datapath.

In the next session (after I close and open client and server) they are messed up again. But as mentioned, some windows do not even open. They appear in the taskbar but they are not visible no matter what I do.
KiloJuliett
So the issue returns after you restarted the EFB server, is that correct? Do you run the server with admin rights?

Thats correct. I dont know if there is a correlation with the server, or just the client, but when I setup for a new flight, the issue reoccurs. EDIT: Yes, all ran with Admin rights
