Nicola
Hi, I am having an issue in launching EFB Data Provider. I get the following error message (details): "Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found. File name: 'Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.dll'". Win10 Pro x64 and P3D4 Installation Path is C:\Program Files (x86)\AivlaSoft Screenshot of error message attached here under. Any idea? Thanks in advance. Cheers Nic
aivlasoft
Hi Nic, Maybe you should visit the P3D forum to figure out which version of SimConnect is required for P3D v4 and where you can get the installer for it. If this does not help try a clean reinstall of P3D v4.

Nicola
I thought I would post an update, in case other users may be in the same predicament. You need ti install the legacy SimConnect versions shipped in the Prepar3D v4 installer. These are located in the redist folder in your Prepar3D installation directory. brucew
I am using EFB Ver 1.6.13 and I have the same error message, I am using P3d Ver 3.4. There is a Simconnect.dll file in the Aivla directory, why does it not load it. Regards Victor

michaelfairburn
I was having the same problem, but Viridian's solution to use the simconnect.msi from the C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib worked for me. Thanks Viridian
