Can I retain my old keys

I have a question.

I have assigned the F10 key (Cockpit View) to a button on my Throttle and the F11 key (Outside view) to another button on the Throttle.

If I install and use Simplecam will it screw up my Throttle keys and cause me not to be able to view the VC and Outside via the buttons on my throttle.

Basically I want Simplecam to do other views such as the overhead without disturbing my current button views.  Can do?

Hi Ken,

 

Yes, you can do. SimpleCam will not touch your joystick assignments as long as they are not assigned to a numeric key 0 to 9. As long as you use the F-keys you will be on the secure side.

 

In any doubt make a backup copy of the file "Standard.xml" in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Controls. The file "Standard.xml" contains all your keyboard and joystick assignments.
