Garmin GPS flight plans

EFB can load the current flight plan into the Garmin GPS in FSX/P3D. To do so, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

 

1) Version 1.5.1 must be installed

 

2) DataProvider settings (Simulator's tab):

 

- Set the flight plan folder properly. This folder cannot be set at your discretion, it must be the same folder where FSX/P3D saves its own flight plans. Usually this is "\Flight Simulator X Files", whereas "" means the commonly known "My Documents" path. The name "Flight Simulator X Files" may vary depending on the language settings of the installed operating system.

 

- Tick the check box "Load / update Garmin GPS system"

 

If these prerequisites are fulfilled, EFB always loads the latest flight plan into the Garmin GPS system, when you press the "Activate" button on the RouteSetup dialog.
