When you have to configure your navigation data management program like 'NavDataPro' from Aerosoft, or Navigraph's 'FMS Data Manager', it's important to select the proper folder where the navdata shall be placed into. NAVIGRAPH: The easiest way is to select 'Scan'. This will most probably find the proper path: ..\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server If you decide to manually select the path, then you have to select the EFB Server's root data folder: ..\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server Do not select the folder '..\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\AIRAC\Navigraph FMS Data' where the data actually belongs. AEROSOFT: If you select the product 'EFB v2' then NavDataPro presets the proper path. If you have to manually select the path, then you have to select the EFB Server's root data folder: ..\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server Do not select the folder '..\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Server\AIRAC\Aerosoft NavDataPro' where the data actually belongs.
I have not found an answer to this question in the manuals or forum, so asking for some help. I subscribe to Navigraph Charts 5 and I've seen YouTubes of people accessing charts in the EFB Display Unit in the Library. One poster said he "linked" to these charts. I have not figured out how to do this. In Charts if you export it exports as .txt, so that's not an option. I've added a blank "Chart" folder to the library and it shows up in the Library, but how do I get chart content into it, or, better yet, link to the existing Charts 5 data? Note that all my charts are working fine for ground, arrivals, etc. I just would like to view them standalone, not in flight, without opening Charts 5. Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this? Thank you.
NedHamilton posted a topic in EFB v1 (Read only, no longer supported)The new cycle from Navigraph 1511 has some installation bugs for those doing a manual install. If you type in a folder the manual install puts everything in the C drive root directory. If you Browse to the correct directory, the manual install puts some files in the right place but others not in the right place. This post explains where the files should be: http://aivlasoft.ipb...older-settings/ I don't know if Navigraph's data manager is working correctly.
