  1. Both apps are allowed through the firewall (both private and public networks), so I don't think that that's the problem. Log files attached as requestsed. Mike Client_202004120840.txt.zip Server_202004120841.txt.zip
  2. EDIT: Moved to proper forum by Admin Hi, I'm having issues getting the client to connect to the server (on my local machine). I have tried everything I can think of (not a long list LOL) including a full reinstall of the latest (build 116) of both server and client, but to no avail. The log client log file says this: 2020-04-11 10:45:01.716 Debug : ========== AivlaSoft.Efb.Client Version 2.1 (build #116) started ========== 2020-04-11 10:45:01.725 Debug : +++++++ System info +++++++ 2020-04-11 10:45:02.774 Debug : CPU = Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz 2020-04-11 10:45:02.777 Debug : SpeedMHz = 4001, BusSpeedMHz = 100, Cores = 4, Threads = 8 2020-04-11 10:45:02.814 Debug : OS = Microsoft Windows 10 Pro / 64-bit 2020-04-11 10:45:02.818 Debug : Version = 10.0.18363 2020-04-11 10:45:02.821 Debug : OS language = en-GB, Regional settings = en-NZ 2020-04-11 10:45:02.824 Debug : Number decimal separator = '.' 2020-04-11 10:45:02.827 Debug : Number group separator = ',' 2020-04-11 10:45:02.830 Debug : Process is 64bit 2020-04-11 10:45:02.834 Debug : +++++++ System info +++++++ 2020-04-11 10:45:02.888 Debug : Settings loaded from: C:\Users\micha\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Settings\clientSettings.txt 2020-04-11 10:45:02.895 Debug : AutoUpdateInterval = 0 2020-04-11 10:45:02.901 Debug : Verify software version ... 2020-04-11 10:45:03.562 Debug : Latest versions read 2020-04-11 10:45:03.569 Debug : Latest version is installed 2020-04-11 10:45:06.432 Debug : IP address of this computer ('FLTSIM') is 192.168.1.24 2020-04-11 10:45:06.436 Debug : Server mode is 'local' 2020-04-11 10:45:06.440 Debug : Using IP endpoint 127.0.0.1/57892 2020-04-11 10:45:06.443 Debug : TcpController initialized 2020-04-11 10:45:06.459 Warning : Colors file 'C:\Users\micha\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Settings\Colors\colorsDefault.bin' doesn't exist. 3. Sorry for taking so long to respond guys, I've been away on holiday for the past couple of weeks. I've just installed the latest updates to EFB and all seems to be fine. I don't know what caused the STAR not to show up, but we're all good now. I appreciate your help and advice on this.
  4. Hi guys, I'm flying into KCLT and the PARQR3 arrival isn't showing. I'm using P3D v4.5 and the latest Navigraph nav data (1912). Any ideas? Moved to proper thread by Admin
  5. Hi Urs, Many thanks for the swift response. The waypoints that are marked with the double asterisks (**) are still in the current cycle (1813). If I add another SID or STAR to the flightplan these waypoints come up as normal and I have to delete the ones with the **. Mike
  6. Hey guys, When I load some of my saved flight plans into EFB I get a double asterisk (**) in front of some of the waypoints (see screenshot). I've searched the documentation, the Internet, and these forums, but can't find any explanation of why this might be. Does anyone have any ideas?
  7. Thanks a million for this, it's sorted my issue. The click on the label is not intuitive, but it's nice to know that it's there. And RTFM, yeah, I know, sorry Mike
  8. Until recently everything has been fine, I've input my route into the Flight Plan page and added departure and arrival procedures through the arrivals page. All of a sudden, the ability to add a departure to the Flight Plan has disappeared (the button is greyed out - see screenshot), but I can add arrivals. Anyone any idea what's going on here? Oh, and why, oh why, isn't there an option to switch from the departure to the arrival airport on this screen? It would make so much sense and save me so much time. Thanks in anticipation for your help on this. Really loving EFB2, a great improvement on EFB1
  9. Awesome, many thanks. Just want to say that v2 is fabulous, a huge improvement on v1.
  10. Hi Urs, thanks for your prompt reply. Is there a way to go into the Vatsim definitions file and edit them? Mike
  11. Does anyone know why the standard frequencies for ATC units come up as '!not found in definitions'? Is there any way to fix it? I have the latest NavData installed (1808) EDIT: Moved to proper forum by moderator
  12. I was having the same problem, but Viridian's solution to use the simconnect.msi from the C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib worked for me. Thanks Viridian
  13. I know it's probably too late to take 'requests' for functionality, but it would be great if: 1. The runway numbers could be updated when they change (eg: Chicago O'Hare (KORD) is still using the old numbers in 1.5.xx) 2. The SIDS and STARS would draw the chart so we could see which one to choose depending on which direction we are arriving from/departing to. This is my biggest problem when flying to new airfields - it's great being able to choose the SIDS and STARS, but sometimes there are so many possibilities it takes you an age just to find the right one. If v2.0 could draw out the chart (even in a very basic form) it would help enormously Anyway, like everyone else, so looking forward to v2. Credit card is burning a hole in my pocket, so do get a move on, there's a good chap Mike
