  1. Is FSUIPC running and can you see it in your addon drop down menu in the sim?
  2. Hi Urs, After some further testing I believe the fault lies with me. I was flying in Chile down from Santiago and I guess there is not much AI traffic in that region. Indeed, when I checked FlightRadar24 for the same time period the skies were pretty empty. Maybe the AI aircraft that I noticed on the Active Sky weather map were too far out to show on EFB It was only a couple so I will not lose any sleep. I've also done some other flights since, over Europe, and all the AI traffic appeared normally. I would consider this item closed. Many thanks as always. Kind regards, Ken
  3. Hi Urs, Thanks for the quick response. The aircraft do not disappear immediately. In fact I can see them on the Global Map...but soon they being to vanish. I will do more testing and try to capture some screen shots so that you can fully see what I am. I will report back soon. Thanks again, Kind regards, Ken
  4. Hi Team, Happy New Year. You don't hear from me very often, because the system normally works. However, recently, possibly after the last update Version 2.3 build #136, I have noticed that, once I depart an airport, I start to lose visibility of other AI traffic. I know it is there because I can hear the ATC comms, I can see it also on my Active Sky Map. I have Display AI traffic set to +50,000 and -50,000, which has worked flawlessly since I started using V2. If I sit at an airport and plane spot, it works without issues. The problem only seems to occur once I depart the airport zone. as I descend and arrive at my destination, the AI traffic remains lost on the map but present all around. It is almost as if the EFB is somehow losing data? I use a mix ot UTL and AIG. I even restarted UTL but it makes no difference. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Forgot to mention, P3D V5.3! Also, I can see aircraft listed on the Traffic Monitor on the EBF Server. Thanks and kind regards, Ken
  5. Hi Bernd, In the EFB Client, Settings, then Aircraft TAB there is an option to Display AI Traffic within a specified height, both above and below the user aircraft. I have mine set at 60,000 feet for above and -60,000 for below and I have never had any issues with either AIG or UTL1/2 and UT2. Maybe you have checked these settings already. Brgds Ken
  6. Hi Urs, Ok got it, thanks for confirming. I will use the traffic monitor next time to catch this. Many thanks, Ken
  7. Hi Jonas, I think looking at that code it might be a typo. E17S does not exist in the ICAO DOC 8643 database; I think this should be E75S - ERJ-170-200 Short Wing. I shall amend that in the aircraft.cfg file and see if that makes ant difference. For my own benefit, are the ICAO codes hard coded into the EFB or is that something the user can add/amend? Thanks, Ken
  8. Hi Jonas, I am using a mix of UTL and AIG, The aircraft in question is from AIG with the following entry: [GENERAL] category=AIRPLANE atc_type=SILENT atc_model=E17S I am not sure what you mean by the traffic list of the EFB Server, do you mean the Traffic Monitor? This is obviously blank now since the sim and EFB was closed down.
  9. HI Urs, Can you advise me why the aircraft type does not display against certain aircraft - e.g. in the picture, KLM1486 n/a, where n/a should display the ICAO aircraft code. Does this information come from the [General] section of the aircraft.cfg file? Thanks Ken
  10. Hi Lonewulf, Thanks for the detailed description. It was my own fault; I am so used to this not being an issue that I didn't even check the sidebar active waypoint ;-) I was too busy hand flying the SID to notice. I even have a sound reminder when a waypoint is passed but for some reason did not hear that either ;-) At least I now know how to remedy, thanks for your help. Brgds Ken
  11. Hi Urs, I hope all is well. I rarely post on here as I rarely have any issues However, today I noticed that if the aircraft misses a waypoint in the EFB flightplan, the EFB does not continue to populate the data even if the aircraft follows the remainder of the EFB flightplan. E.e. I departed LEBB on the AMTO4B SID, However, this differed slightly from the track per the FMC procedure in the QW787 (using same AIRAC from Navigraph). As a result, the EFB waypoint BLV was missed and all the subsequent waypoints, even although the aircraft followed the routing after BLV. Is there any way to force the EFB to re-establish the link when this happens? Thanks Brgds Ken
  12. Guys, Is there any update on whether FTX 4 is now compatible with EFB V2? Just about to do a clean install but don´t want to waste my time on FTX4 if there is still an issue. Many thanks, Ken
  13. Doh Thanks Lonewolf! Cant´see the wood for the trees. Brgds Ken
  14. Hi Urs, I don´t hear nay sound when passing over the waypoint in my Flightplan. The sound is assigned in the Sounds folder and if I press play I can hear it, However, I never hear it in the active flight plan. Any ideas? Thanks Ken
