  1. Hey, guys! Do you plan on updating EFB for Flight Sim 2020? -= Gary =-
  2. Thanks! And sorry about the lack of signature. Haven't had time to set up my profile properly yet. I shall read the manual more thoroughly. -= Gary =-
  3. Just installed the new version, and have one problem. In the server set-up, under the Simulators & Weather/FSX-SE tab, in the Simulator box, there is a line for Flight plan folder. Why is it greyed out? And how is EFB now supposed to find the flight plans created in PFPX when I click Company routes in the client? I am running EFB on two computers, with PFPX on the server side with FSX/SE. So all of my flight planning is being done on that side. And, of course, the EFB client is the one with the flight planning tab. So when I pick Company routes on the client, where should the client be looking for those routes? In EFB v1, the path was Documents\Aivlasoft\EFB\Userdata\Routes. That path no longer exists In V2.
  4. Well, after an un-install/re-install, I had the same problem. But something told me that I could fix it by changing the TCP port number. Bumped it up a few digits, and re-started it, and all seems well so far. I did remember to change the port on the Display side (on my other computer), and now I will go ahead and put the program through its paces again. So no need to reply. Thanks anyway! Time to go flying up in Alaska in my new Comanche!
  5. Everything was working, but the Data Provider will not pen now, and I get this error. If I click on "Continue", the screen stays open but frozen, and I cannot open the menu to get into the setup. If I click "Quit," of course the program quits. Any way I can save this without un-installing and re-installing it? -= Gary Barth =-
  6. Fixed the problem with help from Pete Dowson and Steve Waite over on AvSim: Although FSX simconnect is left on the system and should remain working when FSX is uninstalled, there may be some problem with it. As Pete suggests, could try running the legacy simconnect installers just in case: ..\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-RTM\SimConnect.msi ..\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-SP1\SimConnect.msi ..\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-XPACK\SimConnect.msi Those having installed FSX-SE on a fresh Windows PC (not seen FSX) should at least run the SP1 and XPACK installers. Installed all 3, and EFB is now working fine.

This has fixed my problem, and will probably fix yours. Can't hurt to give it a try.
  8. I completely removed FSX and all of its components and re-installed FSX SE. I was running EFB on two computers (both running Win7/64), and all was running fine. Now, however, the data provider will not install - it looks good and runs through all of its paces, but at the end, ir crashes, with the enclosed message. Since I am running Win7, the docs say that I am already running .Net framework 3.5, so I don't think that's the problem, but here's the rest of the data from the box: ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The specified module could not be found. 9. Love the software, and I'm really digging into it thoroughly. I think the checklist section is extremely useful, but there really aren't any provided. I downloaded the A2A Cessna 172 and the PMDG 737NGX from the site, but I would like to start building one for the Carenado Grand Caravan. Lots of work involved, so I'd like to use maybe the C-172 checklists as a template, and modify it accordingly to fit the C-208. Question is, how do I import that checklist set under another name, i.e. Carenado C-208? Or open the C-172 lists and save them as a C-208 set? I have the manuals to create the checklists, but to do so from scratch will take a lot more time. Can I edit the XML files to rename them, and then import the edited set? Any help would be greatly appreciated. UPDATE: I am in the process of creating a complete checklist set for the Carenado Grand Caravan. I'd like to make it available to the users up here. How would I go about uploading it to the group?
