  1. Just to update my situation. I re-installed to no avail, but went ahead and changed "Server Mode" on Display Unit to remote, and identified by my Server name and it has done the job. I did this as the re-instal changed the port number, and even though the Data Provider was "listening" on the new port number, nothing happened until I identified my Server's name.
  2. Thank you Travis. I tried that to no avail, and I am still on W7 as I did not install the update yet. Only thing I can think of that may be different is I have the link direct to to AppData\... on the 2nd PC, as I cannot locate AppData if I look under C:\Users\My PC\AppData\... Also, if it helps any, I have System in Display unit clickable and the rest are greyed out.
  3. My second pc with the display unit went sour after installing August updates for w8.1, so I had to do a fresh install of everything on a new hd. All seems to work fine, and I did the sharing permissions, as I have the two PC's networked via cable. I get PFPX communicating and sending info just fine to main PC, and also get OPUS FSI client interacting live with no issues. My issue is with the data provider, as it is stuck on "Connecting DataProvider", with the bottom green light and "loading" on the bottom left. Provider data folder is linked correctly (User\appdata\local\aivlasoft\efb\aivlasoft.efb.dataprovider) Any ideas as to where I went wrong, or what I should check would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
