  1. Hi Steve, My apologies, I appear to have jumped the gun slightly here. The issue re the error message in the Data Provider has been fixed, but I have to confess that I hadn't actually tried opening the airport in the Display Unit (had assumed this would be ok). Yes, I'm getting the same Runway assignment warning as yourself when opening EGCC in the DU and it is indeed displaying the default airport. Sorry Urs for misleading you earlier (my time and focus at the time was taken up with various PMDG and Orbx updates today), but it appears there's still a problem here. Thanks, Dennis
  2. @Steve, yes I was experiencing exactly the same issue. @Urs, pleased to report that this issue has been fixed with the 1.6.11 update. Many thanks for resolving so quickly! Kind regards, Dennis
  3. + 1 Gary Summons (developer) mentioned that Manchester is the first UK2000 airport to be compiled with the P3DV4 BGLComp. Dennis
  4. Hi, I have installed the 1.6.9 update (both versions) and am experiencing a problem with the Data Provider program and Imaginesim's KLGA. The Data Provider doesn't appear to be picking up the KLGA scenery folder when running the "Scenery simulator data update" (is there a log file produced to confirm as the scenery entries display extremely quickly when running this update?). As a result, the aircraft position isn't showing correctly on the Display Unit ground chart. Please find below the entries in the relevant config files: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg [Package.1] PATH=I:\P3Dv4 Add-on Scenery\Imagine Simulation\KLGA LaGuardia 2016 P3Dv4\ TITLE=Imagine Simulation KLGA2_PD4 ACTIVE=true REQUIRED=false I:\P3Dv4 Add-on Scenery\Imagine Simulation\KLGA LaGuardia 2016 P3Dv4\add-on.xml <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>Imagine Simulation - KLGA LaGuardia 2016 V3.0</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>Scenery for airport KLGA LaGuardia 2016 by Imagine Simulation</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Scenery</Category> <Path>I:\P3Dv4 Add-on Scenery\Imagine Simulation\KLGA LaGuardia 2016 P3Dv4\scenery</Path> <Name>Imagine Simulation - KLGA LaGuardia 2016 V3.0</Name> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Scenery</Category> <Path>I:\P3Dv4 Add-on Scenery\Imagine Simulation\KLGA LaGuardia 2016 P3Dv4\scenery2FS\scenery</Path> <Name>Imagine Simulation - KLGA LaGuardia 2016 V3.0 Elevation</Name> <Layer>2</Layer> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Texture</Category> <Path>I:\P3Dv4 Add-on Scenery\Imagine Simulation\KLGA LaGuardia 2016 P3Dv4\texture</Path> <Type>GLOBAL</Type> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> Please can you check if there may be a reason the Data Provider isn't reading this scenery and/or if there is a way to definitely verify whether it is reading it or not. Many thanks, Dennis *** UPDATE 20/06/2017 ***: Moved add-on.xml to a newly created LaGuardia folder under "C:\Users\denni\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons", updated the path in add-ons.cfg and all working correctly now.
  5. Pete, I found I had to put ftp:// in front of the NOAA URL in System > Settings > Weather tab for it work. I believe it may be defaulting to http otherwise and the NOAA ftp server isn't configured to accept the http protocol. Best regards, Dennis
  6. Hi Leodirk If you follow the steps below, EFB works perfectly with Prepar3D: 1. Copy notepad.exe from your Windows directory to your desktop and rename it to fsx.exe 2. Start Prepar3D and EFB 3. Start fsx.exe from step 1 (opens Notepad) EFB is simply checking that a process called fsx.exe is running before it connects to Prepar3D. By following the steps above, this circumvents that problem. I've been doing this for the past 3 months without any issues at all. Kind regards, Dennis
