Hi chaps, I have Zagreb - LDZA - by rfSceneryBuilding purchased on SimMarkets. I'm a little confused by the runway designations. SkyVector, PFPX, and Wiki all shows it's 05/23 but P3D and EFB show it as 04/22. You guys are normally up to date with this so could you confirm the runway designators please? Thanks!

Thanks Oskar, bizarre way to control Ai. It’s an Aerosoft airport so there’s no chance of discussing the AFCAD with the developer. A new version of Rome is coming. Hopefully we’ll have some parking gates for civilian airliners. I’ll check Rwy25 can be used for departures, thanks.

Hi again Oskar, I appreciate it's not relevant to the ILS issue but one thing has always bugged me about LIRF from Aerosoft. Why is every gate defined as General Aviation with a few as Cargo? Is it to prevent default airport traffic interfering with GSX vehicles? I don't have that problem at other airports with normally defined parking positions. Do you know if Rwy 25 is used for departures? I know 07 isn't but if winds are from the west 25 seems an obvious choice. Surely better than them having to cope with crosswinds if 16R or 16L are used. 16L especially as it's a long taxi.

Oskar, That frequency in my first post is taken from the AFD in the Aerosoft \Rome\scenery folder. This is totally perplexing. Displaying the Airport data in the Client confirms that. I’ll need to check things again tomorrow. I know that site I linked to is only for default scenery. I’m using ADE to check the frequencies.

By “scenery” do you mean the default BGL that covers that airport? I believe so as I downloaded and installed the World Navaids package from this site. https://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html But even assuming I hadn’t the Rome scenery should take priority, surely. I loaded the AFD in the Rome\scenery folder and the ILS is the correct one. But EFB disagrees. Are you seeing the same?

Gents, The ILS 16L for LIRF by Aerosoft is showing Outdated even though as far as I can see it matches real-world values. Navdata is running on 2013/R1. I'm showing 108.10 FLL.

Hi chaps. I have this scenery for both P3Dv3 and v4. I copied the supplied AFD into the relevant folder and flew Lisbon-GCTS in Concorde. 18 miles out on the Localiser P3D crashed with a g3.dll error. I flew this route yesterday without a problem. I reloaded from a saved flight and tried again. Same problem. Finally, I restored the original and this time the approach and landing was fine. Seems the v4 AFD is different to the v3 one. Any chance one could be provided for v3 please so I can use the 07 approach?

Hi gents, hope everyone is keeping well. I'm running P3D v4.5 and recently added the Vertx Diamond DA62 to my fleet. Lovely aircraft with a full G1000 cockpit. Its autopilot reads the P3D flight plan when activated by EFB and if I add a SID and STAR those are also included. All good so far. The problem appears when I'm airborne and need to make a change to the plan. I do that via EFB and if it requires a change of active waypoint I select DIR TO. Doing that causes a change of the active waypoint in the DA62 to the waypoint immediately preceeding the destination airport. To correct this problem I have to bring up the GPS1000 plan and reselect the original active waypoint. If I do the same action with other aircraft such as the PMDG737 or a Carenado PC12 this doesn't happen. I'm unsure if it's a problem with the DA62 or EFB. Does anyone else who has this aircraft have this problem and if so, how best to handle it.

Oskar, the AFD did include 01/19 but using Find Faults showed the ILS was way out of position and using the default so couldn’t be deleted. When I tried to compile it warning messages appeared which I couldn’t follow. So unable to get ILS for 01/19 recognised by EFB. Is that runway in use?

Thanks Oskar. I'm okay using ADE. I presume the only change you make is to enable 01/19. Does the ILS need enabling too?

Using the supplied AFD things became worse. The taxi line had me going through buildings. Huh? And then I found the problem. I have the JustSim EBBR, not Aerosoft! 😁 Back to the drawing board.

Hi Oskar, I renamed the original and dropped your BGL into the relevant scenery folder and rebuilt the EFB database. Gates now align correctly and I’ll keep an eye on the Ai. Understand the copyright reasons why you have a different name for yours. My best to you and Urs. 👍

Gents, I have a related problem at EBBR after installing the supplied BGL into Server\AFCAD folder. I use GSX and it's using a different AFCAD so the gate numbers don't match up. Is the simplest solution to move your AFCAD into the EBBR\Scenery folder and rename the existing AFX_EBBR.bgl?

Hi Urs, Thanks for your answer but I'm not sure I made my point clearly enough. Let me give an example. All times are UT for convenience. Using current time at Manchester of 11:07UT The Info page shows sunset at 20:40 UT with a time to go of 09h 38m. So 11:07 + 09:38 = 20:45. That's close enough. But if I put the time in the sim back 3 hours so it's now 08:11UT the sunset time is still 20:40 but the time to go remains at 09h 33m. Shouldn't it be 12h 29m or thereabouts? The time remaining seems to be calculated on current time and not sim time. Might it be more helpful to the user if sim time was used for Time to Go?

Hi Urs / Oskar, On the Airport Info page the Overview tab shows the sunrise / sunset times for the selected airport together with the time to go before those events happen. I'm flying eastward from Phoenix, Arizona to Dallas, Texas using historic time from yesterday. Date is 26/6/20 and current local time is 19:54 (01:54Z 27/6). However, the time to sunset states 23:51 to go. In fact it's around 45 mins. Any ideas on this?

Gents, on some of my flights I have to pause the sim for a while. EFB is fine in this respect except for logging the total flight time on the flight log. For example on today's flight from Dubai to King Khaled I paused P3D for 30 mins for lunch. The time I departed was 04:54Z and arrival time was 06:14Z. Total flight time = 1h 20m. But EFB is showing Total Flight time as 1h 49m. That is including the pause of 30 mins. Shouldn't it just be the time difference between departure and arrival?

I've only transited through Dubai, not stayed. Back in March 2011 from EGCC landing around 07:00 local. We had to take a coach to the terminal but it never struck me as too hot fortunately. Once the epedemic is over there'll be lots of cheap holidays there... in August! I don't know how people cope with the heat.
