  1. Thanks but what is H4010? For now I'm modifying my waypoints so they're not altered by EFB.
  2. This change would appear to impact on any plan. Take 4410N as an example. This is not a custom waypoint. It's a standard waypoint. It's precise lat / lon is 43 degrees 42 minutes North, 10 degrees west. But when imported into EFB the coordinates are changed to 44 degrees North, 10 degrees West. This change needs reversing asap. I will happily put up with the long name of waypoints.
  3. Stephen, although he did explain about the issue with minutes in a waypoint he then said "It will be fixed with next update." I took that as meaning adding minutes to a custom waypoint would be possible. Only being able to create waypoints in PFPX with whole degrees only is extremely limiting when certain criteria like accel and subsonic points are critical to correct Concorde operations. I fail to understand why the information in a pln cannot be imported into EFB without any change to it. The plan contains both the named waypoint and its precise coordinates.
  4. This is a significant problem for me with Concorde flights. I would appreciate a response given I am unable to roll back to an earlier version of EFB. The distance from some waypoints in EFB to the real waypoint is so great I'm not being credited with having overflown them. I have to keep selecting the Direct To option. That is not sustainable.
  5. Hi Urs, I'm afraid this fix is not what I asked for. I asked that the name of the waypoint be changed to that held in the flight plan loaded into EFB. Whilst you've done that you have also changed the lat / lon of those waypoints and I now have a discrepancy between those in the EFB plan and the waypoint coordinates fed to Concode's three INS systems. As an example on thie attached plan - LPPTEGCC03.pln the waypoint 4110N should be N40.33.0 W009.33.0. Those are the coordinates in the plan. But the values fed into EFB from that plan are N41.00.0 W010.00.0 Later waypoint have the same problem. This is causing waypoints to appear in the wrong position on the map. Can you please correct this so the actual lat / lon in the plan fed to EFB shows for each waypoint in its flight plan. No rounding please. Sim is P3D v3.4 but that is not really relevant since the same would happen with v4 and v5. LPPTEGCC03.pln
  6. Thanks Urs. I guessed a reinstall would be your next suggestion. I only backup my system every couple of months. The Client side seems fine despite remaining untouched. This is the first serious problem I’ve had in 6 years of using v2. It remains a quality and robust program. I doubt it will ever happen again. 👏
  7. I deleted the "Ready" folder and then ran DbBuilder. Selected P3Dv5 and it ran through the process. I chose Close when prompted. But no option appeared asking if I wanted to just close the DB or launch the Server. I tried running the Server and a message appeared saying it can't run when the DbBuilder is running. As I type this it's still running. I "end task" it and for a brief moment that message appears but before I can respond it closes. I launch the Server and Client (on a separate PC) and they connect. All seems well. I stop the Server and launch the DbBuilder. It fails to show but is running in Task Manager. Back to square one. I deleted the Ready folder and started again. The process completed and I pressed Close. I wait for several minutes but the option to just close DbBuilder or open the Server never appears. P3Dv5 is not running. I bit the bullet and uninstalled the Server install. Ran the 2.049 setup.exe and after it finished it prompted me to update to the latest version. Completed that and this time after pressing Close the option appeared to either close or start the Server. I opted for the Server and it opened and connected to the Client. DbBuulder.exe wasn't running. Problem solved! Hopefully this might be useful to anyone else having this strange and rare problem.
  8. Hi Urs, I did it before posting here. I’ll do as you suggest tomorrow morning and hopefully the problem will be solved. I was running the latest #138 up to yesterday. I always update when prompted to. Thanks for getting back to me. More tomorrow.
  9. Hi Oskar, yes, tried that with admin privileges and still the same. My desktop shortcut also has admin privileges. It’s odd because I bought Imaginesim Singapore yesterday and was prompted to run the database update. I thought it must not have started but later on when I started the Server and ignored the option to update the database the new Singapore was shown in the Airport data suggesting it had run but without any interface showing. Bizarre. I hope the log gives Urs a clue. I did copy my Documents\Aivlasoft \Server folder from a backup. When I launched the Server exe it said an update was available. I installed that but still no joy on the Database interface becoming visible.
  10. Here's a log file which I hope will help you. Server_202305191328.txt.zip
  11. P3Dv5.3HF2. EFB Database Builder is launched but doesn't appear on the screen. The last thing I see when running the Server is a message saying do you wish to update the database. I choose Yes and nothing appears. Same when running the Database Builder directly. I have to use Task Manager to end task. But if I choose No to the database rebuild the Server runs okay and connects to the Client EFB display. The last thing I changed on the Database Builder was to adjust the runway numbers at EGSS. Might that be responsible? I can't find where that data is held. Quick reply appreciated
  12. Hi Urs, thanks for fixing this problem. Much appreciated. 👏
  13. Hi Urs, when will the next update be available please?
  14. Hi Urs, but the shortened name of the waypoint is shown in quotes - 1560N. Is it not possible just to read that and ignore the waypoint coordinates? You’ll understand it’s not always possible to use only degrees because that would mean the waypoint would be a considerable distance from the ideal position.
  15. Hi Urs, P3Dv3.4. I use this purely for Concorde flights. I create my own plans to maximise the supersonic legs. In many cases I need to enter a waypoint using lat/lon such as 1500N06000W. I use PFPX to do this and then export the plan in P3D format. When it's loaded into EFB that waypoint shows as N1500W06000. I'd rather it show as 1560N using the five character system. I'm attaching a plan I created from JFK to Barbados. If you load it you'll see what I mean. Can the waypoint have a more elegant name than shown above? KJFKTBPB99.pln
  16. I received an email from noreply@invisioncloudcommunity.com entitled “Did this answer your question”. I’m hoping you know these emails are being sent out. In this case there’s no best answer but I was going to mark your post about it not being related to gear down as most suitable. Never mind. Oskar, fair enough. Curiosity got the better of me. 😁
  17. I’ve been sent an email about this topic asking me to mark the best answer as the solution. But I can’t see how to do it. No option available.
  18. This is the approach plate for LEAL Rwy28 that has no ILS. Different to above so I don't think the shaded area is anything to do with gear down.
  19. Hi Urs, Here's what I'm referring to. Is the start of that shaded area when I should have gear down? Distance of 8nm seems about right.
