I don't have the Airbusses, my problem is with QW 787-8/9, and still can't get it to keep the camera views. I can set up a view and lock it to a keypad number, but as soon as I try to setup another view it just zooms back to the first view and zoomed in. I have the latest version of SimpleCam and have tried un/reinstalling it a couple of times, but still no luck. As I mentioned, I didn't have any problems with P3Dv4.2. I updated the client and content to 4.3 , and followed LM's guide how to do it, AND all other addons works fine, just not SimpleCam.

Any news on this topic from Aivlasoft? Jlund

Does EFB need the paid version of FSUIPC to show ai traffic, or is the freeware version enough? Jlund

My Simple Cam worked flawlessly in P3Dv4.2, but like Turambar and Raymond, it doesn't work in 4.3. Jlund

You write under install of EFB: "We strongly recommend using the proposed installations paths" Is that a MUST? I try to keep all my sim stuff out of Program Files or Program Files X86 and instead have all flightsim related on my J: Drive Is it Ok to install to: J:\Aivlasoft\EFB2\Server and J:\Aivlasoft\EFB2\Client ?

No, I haven't contacted them yet. I wonder if anyone else from different countries experience the same differences in the price. Regards JLundtoft

Thank you for the reply. Hope there's an explanation from Cleverbridge on how the figure out the prices. Even though I just downloaded EFB 2, I will hold back on installing it since I can see there's some problems with the database creation.

Still don't get it. It says the price is CHF 47.92 PLUS 25% Vat = 59.90 CHF and according to all the valkuta exchanges I have tried they say aprox Kr. 381 to 385 INCL. VAT, so do I have to add extra 25% VAT (our vat rate in DK) to the price? If I do so it says it's aprox kr 482. So yet another diffrent amount from the kr. 445.88 on the Cleverbridge page. No, I just don't get it.

The price for EFB v2 is CHF 59.90 right? When I go to the purchase screen it convert the price to my local currency (Denmark/Danish kr) and it says kr 445.88 However if I use the latest valuta from different valuta exchanges, they all say that CHF 59.90 is aprox kr.381 - kr. 383 So why the difference of aprox kr. 60 - 63 more when I HAVE to buy it through Cleverbridge? Will it be possible to buy it through Simmarket instead? Regards J. Lundtoft

Thanks for the reply. Can you show some screenshots of the new User Interface? Will there be a discount for users of v1? Is it enough to have the free version of FSUIPC?

Just realized today that there's a ver 2 in beta right now. Is there a list or something that shows what features there will be in the new version (new things and updates)? Cheers JLund

Just installed it in P3D and put it in J:\EFB but all I get is a lot of files and a Plugin folder. There's no Aivlasoft\ NavData and SIDSTAR folder which it must use when setting up the data provider. I seem to remember it automatically created it in FSX? Can I just make them myself and point the dataprovider to it? Jlund

There's different setups for Ezdok that people have made, and then people can fine tune them to their own liking. The same could be done with SimpleCam, I would'nt mind having setups for different planes, and then fine tune them my self.

Is there somewhere we can find already made simplecam settings for different aircrafts like PMDG, aerosofts airbus, carenado, realair etc? Jlund.

Have anyone tried it in P3D v 3.1? I used to have it installed in FSX, but before installing it in P3D, I would like to be sure it doesn't mess it up. If anything's change with regards to paths etc. an easy A-b-c of how to install it correctly will be greatly appreciated. Sincerly Jorn Lundtoft

Thanks, I have and understand that some addons are not 100% compatible, but I can see ai traffic using the above route, so that tells me that it's not the AFCad of the airport that's wrong.

I've noticed that a lot of the times when trying to make some ground routes, I get the "no connected taxiways found" message. An example: Aerosoft EHAM when taxiing from RW18R to gate G76 at the following route: V-W5-C-B-A19-G076 What's causing this,? And it's not the only airport I have tried it in. Jørn L

I can see my own aircraft on the map, but I can't activate the TRFC (and WIND) buttons so I can see the AI Planes around me. Any advice on how to fix it? Regards Jørn Lundtoft

Oh I wish I had any idea about the data format etc. I only know that Xplane needs a .fms format flightplan to be able to import it. A program/online site named onlineflightplanner.org has the option to save FP's in different format and amongst them are .fms. So that's what I use at the moment, but it would be nice to be able to do it from EFB. BTW: Do you have any info of what the V2 will update/add of new things? Regards Jørn

Why is it that Aivlasoft EFB doesn't support X-Plane so we can export flightplans in the .fms format, and do you have any plans to do so?

I tried searching for X-Plane in the search box, but didn't get any hits, so excuse me if the question already has been answered. Is it not possible to save a flightplan to X-Plane format or the format that the Jar design A320 can read?
