  1. Alright - never mind, it wasn't that important... sitting aboard the aircraft with charts on my notebook might look somewhat strange to other passengers anyways these days. Thank you!
  2. Hello, I'm just trying to insert the route of my holiday flight tomorrow (EDDF-KLAX) into the EFB. FlightAware displays: BIBOS7G BIBOS UZ28 NAPSI UP73 SPY UL602 SUPUR UP1 ROLUM UP13 ASKAM UL7 SUM UM125 GONUT 6400N 01000W 6600N 02000W 6700N 03000W 6800N 04000W 6800N 05000W 6800N 06000W CANEL 6730N 07000W 6600N 08000W 6330N 09000W 5930N 10000W EPTIR YVC J540 LORNA KU12M 4200N 11600W KL36K HEC RIIVR2 I have tried EDDF SID BIBOS UZ28 NAPSI UP73 SPY UL602 SUPUR UP1 ROLUM UP13 ASKAM UL7 SUM UM125 GONUT 6400N 01000W 6600N 02000W 6700N 03000W 6800N 04000W 6800N 05000W 6800N 06000W CANEL 6730N 07000W 6600N 08000W 6330N 09000W 5930N 10000W EPTIR YVC J540 LORNA KU12M 4200N 11600W KL36K HEC STAR KLAX and various similar alternatives, but EFB does not seem to understand the coordinate waypoints (e.g. "5930N 10000W"). How would I enter these? Best regards Cyrano
  3. You might want to try the "Data" / "FSX Scenerey Data Update" function in the DataProvider.
  4. Urs, I could solve the EDDK problem now: I had mistakenly inserted a Tab instead of a blank between 07 and 06, which obviously caused the misinterpretation of the file (no surprise). Thanks for figuring out the EDXW bug. Concerning the licence reset, I will contact you within the next days - pretty busy right now, sorry... Have a nice weekend Joshua
  5. Negative, FSX-standard-scenery only for me. Didn't try yet, but I guess so. I like how you fulfill my wishes before I have even asked...
  6. Unfortunately, I'm not completely happy yet... As an example, I inserted the following lines into runways.txt: EDXW 24 24 EDXW 06 06 EDXW 15 14 EDXW 33 32 The DisplayUnit now offers STARs to the runways 14 and 32, which is really nice. But unfortunately, no ILS approach for runway 32 is offered (NDB only), although in the "Airport Information" window an ILS frequency is shown for the runway and although the Navigraph data is aware of the ILS as well. Apart from that, the ground chart is still showing the old runway numbers - it would be nice if these were updated as well to avoid confusion. For EDDK, I am having problems of a different kind. I inserted: EDDK 07 06 EDDK 25 24 EDDK 14L 14L EDDK 14R 14R EDDK 32L 32L EDDK 32R 32R Unfortunately, the Display Unit now seems to have lost runway 07/06 partially, as it is not shown in the "Airport Information" window anymore. In the STAR selection, it is offered, but in the SID selection, it is not. Strange, isn't it? Unfortunately, the Data Provider does not give me any of the information described in the manual - all I get is "Request for Airport [EDDK] from ... received.", and that's it. Maybe you want to have a look at it again...
  7. I think I identified the problem already: In FSX, runways 6 and 24 are still called 7 and 25. Obviously, EFB is therefore not able to match the AIRAC-information to the runways. Difficult to solve, I guess. Maybe it is possible to offer a possibility to manually create AIRAC/FSX pairs? Same problem applies for EDXW, amongst others.
  8. Hello, Just me again with another bug (?) report, all latest updates are installed. In my opinion, the EFB is not displaying all SIDs/STARs that are defined in the AIRAC-Files (0911 and 0912 - problem applies to both). E.g. for EDDK, EFB only offers SIDS from runways 14L/R and 32L/R, although there clearly are routes existing from runways 6 and 24 as well. Error on my site, or EFB bug? Would be glad for clarification. Thank you! Joshua
  9. Hello Urs, let's see: Language of the OS is English, although all settings (Number Format, Keyboard, etc.) are set to German in the Control Panel. AIRAC Cycle is already 0912. The logfiles unfortunately do not provide much more information than the error itself: 2009-11-30 19:18:35,520 [1] INFO AivlaSoft.Efb.DisplayUnit [(null)] - Application started: AivlaSoft.Efb.DisplayUnit, Version=1.0.0.33752, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=953442301537c18c 2009-11-30 19:18:41,197 [1] INFO AivlaSoft.Efb.DisplayUnit [(null)] - User settings loaded from 'D:\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB\Settings\DisplayUnitSettings.bin' 2009-11-30 19:19:13,015 [11] INFO AivlaSoft.Efb.DisplayUnit [(null)] - Reading airport index file. 10. Hi, I am just evaluating the AivlaSoft EFB in a dual machine setup. Installation was painless and I am just about to define a first route. Unfortunately, I am running into unexplainable errors. E.g., I am using VATRoute to find a Route EDDH to EDDM. As a result, I find e.g. AMLUH Y901 ULSEN M852 POVEL Z16 GALMA T703 LEKMI T105 VAMAS Unfortunately, when selecting the route now, the following error is displayed: Error while parsing route description. Index was outside the bounds of the array. Afterwards, the route is either not inserted at all, or only partially. The same error occurs, if I try to enter the same or another route manually. Is this error known, or am I making an error myself? Cyrano EDIT: Short addition... Same problem occurs if I try to create the route on the local machine. Operating system is Windows 7 on both machines - that might be a hint.
