  1. Guy, thanks for this file. It seems that this is not a single flight plan but a list of flight plans in one single file. The EFB flight plan handlers cannot administrate a list of flight plans, they are designed to only create a single flight plan. Therefore I think that I cannot create a specific handler for the Prosim737 data format.
For our English speaking readers: As far as I know there is no vertical guidance through the Garmin system. EFB also doesn't set any values for the vertical speed on the auto pilot system. EFB only calculates the values which must be set on the Mode Control Panel (V/S) for a proper descent to the next altitude restriction. If the aircraft doesn't follow the glidepath (after a successful interception), then I assume that the auto pilot is not properly set.
  3. Guy, thanks for this brief description. Could you send me some example files to support@aivlasoft.com?
  4. Sam, no, this is currently not possible. Unless you place it in a certain folder where you can pick it up from the library function.
  5. Lothar, diese Einstellung findest du unter "System" > "Settings" > "Flight Information" For our English speaking readers: Lothar asked where he can select the option "Use the first altitude ..." as described in the operations manual, section 8, page 13. [attachment=0]settings.jpg[/attachment]
  6. Guy, could you provide me some ProSim737 CDU data files? So we can try to figure out the data format.
  7. Richard, does it happen with different routes or only with a certain route?
  8. @Fabrizio, the Runways.txt file is here (at least if it's a Win7 system): "C:\Users\[username]\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB\UserData" Please read the operations manual for further details on this topic.
  9. Andrew, that sounds very strange to me. If the DU runs properly then you should have these files in the folder "C:\Users\[username]\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB\Settings". Is this a Win XP system?
  10. Johan, thanks a lot for this comprehensive description of the problem. I tried what you described in the document, but on my system everything works as expected. It seems that on your system sorting the lists is messed up somehow. What language settings do you use on your system? Could you try it without the leading numbers for the checklist?
  11. Branton, What have you misconfigured? Knowing this could be the clue to a solution. Could you please provide me a screenshot of the exception that you get? You may send it to support@aivlasoft.com. Thx.
  12. Andrew, try the following on the DU computer: 1) Locate the following folder: C:\Users\[username]\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB\Settings 2) Delete any files that start with "DisplayUnit_...." 3) Uninstall the DisplayUnit using the Windows Uninstall function (Control Panel) 4) Re-install the DisplayUnit 5) After starting up the DisplayUnit it should be possible to re-configure the settings. Hope this helps.
  13. Mark, It seems that the checklist folders are not available. Did you delete them? To solve it, please have a look at another aircraft folder and try to recreate the folders structure.
  14. Stefan, please check the inbox of your private email. @William, EFB is not using NHibernate, but I think that NHibernate is also using Castle, or probably one of the Rhino components.
  15. Glen, I saw this red box also in the past but I couldn't reproduce it yet. I'm not sure whether it might occur after changing the aircraft in FSX.
  16. Peter, after some tests I can say that FSX doesn't accept a user-waypoint which contains a unknown name as the ICAO identifier. invalid: N50/W030 also invalid: N50W030 valid: GISTI
  17. Peter, thanks for this information. I will have a look at this.
  18. Hi Lothar, kein Problem, sende mir bitte deine Fehlermeldung und dazugehörige Informationen (alle Logfiles) per e-Mail an support@aivlasoft.com. No problem, please send your bug report and the logfiles to support@aivlasoft.com.
  19. David, if there is no yellow border then this is most probably due to a changed color scheme in Windows. Did you set the "Classic mode" or anything similar?
  20. Hi, please, according to the forum rules, sign your posts with your real first name. We like to know to whom we're talking. Thanks. nDac is a Navigraph product which cannot be integrated in EFB. It's a standalone program with an unknown data format.
  21. David, selecting an alternate airport when setting up the route is meant as a 'preset'. At this time it has no other impact on the route. As soon as you decide to fly to the alternate (e.g. due to bad weather conditions at your destination airport) you re-open the "Route Setup" module, select the "Alternates" tab and there you select the airport to go (the most right column shows you the current distance to each of the alternate airports). Then you press "As Destination" and the current flight plan will be changed and will then consider the alternate airport as your destination airport. Waypoints that are not yet 'passed' at this time will then be removed from the flight plan.
  22. Robert, it depends on whether you've already activated a route or not. a) if no route is activated and you select any SID, STAR or Approach then it is more or less only for 'viewing purpose'. if a route is activated and you select any SID, STAR or Approach then you will be asked whether to add/replace the selected procedure to the currently activated route (see next image).without[/u] procedures - Activate the route (-> Progress module opens) - Switch to Departure chart - Select the departure procedure (according to current conditions and requirements) and confirm the route change by pressing "Activate procedurename" - STAR and Approach will only be selected after I have listen to the destination airports ATIS. Hope this helps.
  23. Richard, did you already try the "Vector-To" function? It allows you to select any navaid, fix or airport. After selecting one of them a magenta colored vector shows you the heading and distance to fly.
