  1. I don't own the software, just visiting the form to learn a little more about the software before purchasing. I see a no-no right away, that is steam should never be installed in the Program Files or Program Files(x86) folder. All third-party Flight Sim manufactures tell you not to install Steam in the Windows program folders, because these folders require special permissions to read and write that interfere with third-party software. Steam should be installed in the root directory on drive C. I know you don't want to hear this but this solves a lot of problems. Also, Flight Sim should be set to run "As And Administrator". Go to the FSX.exe In the steam directory - right-click and choose compatibility and check the box that says "Run As Administrator". Just some things I have learned, I have started to install most Flights Sim third-party software in the root directory of drive C. You can verify this by going to manufacturers like PMDG, Flight Sim Commander (FSC) and others tell you not to install steam in the Windows Program Folders.
