  1. Negative, Urs. I ran the automatic update for both the Server and the Client. That's why I wanted to mention it. Randy
  2. Just wanted to add my experience to this thread - I started the Server and it said there was an update (#108), which I did. It said to run the DbBuilder to update the sim, which I also did. Then I started the Server. I then ran the Client and it asked to update (to #108) so I let it update as well. However, when I tried to run it, it stuck at 'Waiting for Server (local)'. I had to go into the ClientSettings.txt and change the port to what the Server was set to (57892). There were no errors and both programs are run as administrator. It appears the client updater does not change the port (but it did change the Program Version entry). Just letting you know. Randy
  3. Juergen, I thought you were moving FSX-SE to another drive. I did this myself since I wanted it running off a faster SSD. But I guess having a second location on the same drive is not allowed. I did read some posts of people closing Steam, dragging the Steam folder out of the C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder and then running Steam.exe within the folder and Steam sorts itself out. But I haven't tried this myself so can't confirm it. Anyway, you got it working for your own setup. ? Randy
  4. @Juergen2 You may be interested in this link. It explains how to change the install location of Steam games. Randy
  5. @mroschk This is a fairly simple process using the editor mentioned above to fix the approach angle in EDDF_AFX-OP07.BGL. Randy
  6. @aivlasoft @lonewulf47 I believe this is solved! I was looking at the Orbx Germany South EDDF file (ADE_FTX_GES_EDDF.bgl) and noticed an "extra" runway 08/26. I was able to remove it (and an associated ILS/Start Position/Approach), update the remaining ILS data, and add the missing ILS data from the latest AIRAC. I then rebuilt the database and the approaches now show. What I don't understand is why the DbBuilder still accessed the Orbx files when I renamed their file extensions to ".off". This is what I now see: All that's left is to fly some of the approaches and see if things work in the sim. Cheers! Randy
  7. Thanks, Oskar. I disable the Orbx EDDF files (x3) and rebuilt the db so only the APX50140.bgl file is active and still no joy. I guess the only difference between us now is the AIRAC provider (I'm using Navigraph). Strange that the navaids show: Perhaps the support files I uploaded will provide the answer. Thanks. Randy
  8. @HondaJet Jerry, Do you have Orbx Germany South installed? Or a 3rd party EDDF addon? @lonewulf47 Oskar, are you able to easily disable your Aerosoft EDDF, rebuild the DB and see what it looks like with just stock scenery? Even using FSX as the DB source, I don't see the 07R ILS approaches. Randy
  9. @aivlasoft As requested: I hope this helps. I'm thinking perhaps the nav data update referred to in my post above may be the issue. Update 2018-09-16: Uninstalling Hervé Sors' Nav Data update did not resolve the issue. Randy Client_201809141937.txt.zip Server_201809141937.txt.zip
  10. Ah. That's what I should see. Thanks, Jerry. Randy
  11. Thanks, Jerry. But I think that's KATL. ? @aivlasoft, unfortunately I'll be away from my computer for about 3 weeks now. Once I'm back from vacation I'll do as you request. I remember checking EDDF and the 2 files in use were 1) the outdated Orbx file I mentioned above and 2) the stock P3D file (APX50140.bgl in the 601 folder if memory serves). But I'll get you those items. Thanks. Randy
  12. Glad you are sorted out, Jerry. @lonewulf47 @aivlasoft Any idea why I can’t see the EDDF ILS approaches using Navigraph? I checked P3Dv3 (installed on the same machine but without the default P3D nav updates I mentioned above) and they still don’t show in EFB. I turned off Bitdefender just in case and still no joy. Perhaps someone with Navigraph data could check EDDF approaches in EFB to see if the ILS ones show up, and it’s not just me with the issue. Randy
  13. Jerry, Just for info, I also checked KATL and I do see the ILS approaches: Interesting that I can see the Freq/Ident/CRS info in my Runway list whereas you do not.
  14. Thanks for the replies. Is it possible that updating the default P3D Nav data (as provided by Hervé Sors on his website) has created a problem with the database creation? I'm not sure if anyone else has done this but I did. It all began when trying to do an approach to EDDF Rwy 25C I was not receiving the Loc or G/S, but if I used the old frequency (IFNW 109.50) it led me to the runway. Using Hervé's (AIE) Airport Inspector & Editor (great program, btw) I narrowed the issue down to an Orbx Germany South file (ADE_FTX_GES_EDDF.bgl) that was outdated: I used the AIE program to fix the BGL, adding the missing ILS approaches and removing the incorrect ones. That probably accounts for your 07R display differing from mine (LDA and VFR pattern). But I am not sure how/if it affected the EFB database creation. Could the Nav data update be the culprit? Is it possible to determine which BGL file(s) are not cooperating for me (i.e. not providing the ILS or GLS approaches in this case). Server version is 2.0.57.0 and Client is 2.0.74.0. Randy Edit: Forgot to mention that I am not using any EDDF addon (other than what Orbx is providing).
  15. I could not find a topic that is similar to the issue I'm having. I was flying a route from EGLL into EDDF Rwy 07R and noticed that the ILS procedures for that runway are not available. I'm not sure how they are built within EFB so not sure where to look for the problem. I have the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle. I can see the approach in the FMC (PMDG 747) and also in Little Navmap. I am using P3Dv4.3. Rebuilding the database did not help. Any ideas? Randy
