  1. Hi Juergen I think this is not what I'm looking for. Can you please create a full set of support file?
  2. Hi Juergen Did you check the details by any chance? There is a bunch of log information that would be valuable for analyzing the error. Also, what actions did you do (in EFB, or any other application) right before this exception occured?
  3. Hi lalandem Did you launch EFB Server/Database Builder with admin rights? Please report the steps you take before this message is displayed.
  4. Hi guys Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I discussed the topic with Urs in the meantime. The main issue is that different FSD server networks use different formats for their whazzup files. More specifically the data fields are at different positions. As there is no generic network traffic format supported, whazzup files from other networks only work if the relevant data fields are at the same position. So to check this, you need to compare VATSIM and IVAO files with the ones generated from your network. If any of them fits, you can change the url in the EFB server to point to your status file. Be aware that EFB also does a check for a minimum number of data elements and does not read the file if the value is too low. The file from the url @PCPiloot sent me works when it is entered instead of the default VATSIM file. There are no plans currently to expand the functionality of EFB in this regard, as the number of EFB users also flying online is quite small.
  5. Yep, the traffic monitor is what I meant. This could be helpful if you spot another case. However, E17S seems to be a fantasy designator. Maybe this is part of the problem. I don't know if there is any cross check with the ICAO database. Urs will be able to clarify.
  6. Hi Ken What is the source of your AI traffic? Please let us know what are the entries for this flight in the traffic list of the EFB Server.
  7. @martyp187 @PCPiloot Please share the URL for your whazzup (may be via PM), so I can check the options and coordinate with Urs afterwards.
  8. That looks already promising. Do you also have a public URL where the current file is available? If you do not want this made public here, please send it to my by PM.
  9. There is currently no such option, indeed. But I think it could be added easily if the format matches. In order to do some verifications, can you please upload some example whazzup files from your network. Thanks.
  10. Just resize the Ribbon window ... ?!
  11. What application is saying this? Have you loaded the flight plan in EFB? What aircraft (default, specific addon) are you using?
  12. When your route is expected to go from an uncovered sector (UNICOM) into a covered one (ATC FREQ) and then back to an uncovered one (UNICOM), this is the correct behaviour. The stations presented in the ATC Freq Ribbon represent your route (from left to right).
  13. Well, were you able to succeed? A properly installed version of FSUIPC is required for EFB to connect.
  14. Both ATC Ribbon and the Frequency window only represent the simulator radio settings, and they can be used in return to change the corresponding values in the simulator. The ATC Ribbon is only active when a flight plan is loaded. Find all the details in Manual 5 Client, ยง13.5.
  15. I believe CPflight radio panels do not support the native flightsim standby frequency, which is used also by EFB. Some hardware unfortunately does not synchronise this data with the default instruments, but keeps it their own. Hence they cannot be manipulated by EFB. As far as I'm aware, this has been an issue since and didn't change (unless the software interface for your hardware changed).
  16. Where would you copy it to? Just make sure you run the Database Builder after you updated the file in your sim. EFB will consider all the data your flight sim "knows".
  17. Hi Paul It seems you are using OneDrive to store the EFB files, which is known to cause issues.
  18. Thanks Oski, works perfectly with that one. So this is then an issue on Drezwiecki's side, I guess. Are those nav corrections also considered when using the file in the AFCAD folder of EFB? Or are the files there only used for the actual layout drawing?
  19. Hey Oski When I check the navaids in the list (via the application menu), I can see names "ILS/DME 26" and "ILS/DME 08". Maybe the issue is then that they shouldn't have a name at all and EFB reports an error because they have.
  20. The Tallin Scenery from Drzewiecki renders two messages during the DB creation. However, when opening the file with ADE, there is a name set. Maybe an issue of specific characters (/)? dbBuilderLogfile.txt
  21. In the PMDG radio panel? Then it's purely a pseudo-display of 8.33 kHz frequencies. In fact, FSX/P3D do not support (yet) 8.33 kHz frequencies, hence 121.380 cannot be a frequency actually set. I guess it's only PMDG imitating 8.33 kHz compatibility.
