Same problem here (I opened a new Topic and was rerouted to here)
I checked the Windows Firewall - Server and Client are allowed Public and Private. I also have an exclusion for the whole Aivlasoft folder.
I attach the latestVersion.txt here and again my logs.

I just wanted to do a flight and updated the Server and Client. Client is now v2.2.121
Server and Client are running on the same machine. Server starts normal.
Client starts up and stays forever on the task "Checking for Updates".
Restarted PC. Attached Logfiles.

I just tried the new version of the EFB and wanted to say THANK YOU for the new ATC Ribbon and the EFB in general! I always fly with it online on VATSIM and I love the new Ribbon - it is highly practical!

Workaround (only until build #114 will be available, and only if you have to run the "Update Navdata" only):
1) Always run "Update Simulator" after you had to run "Update Navdata"

2) Delete the database and create a new one. This includes the internal call of the above mentioned function.
You don't have to run both workarounds, only 1) OR 2).

I never had any problems with EFB recognizing the ILS at the FlyTampa LOWW scenery... today I updated to the latest EFB and now I dont get ILS Approaches.
I already have read thru the Forum here and that this problem occurs to others too.
But is this already in a fixing process or do we have to do something as a workaround? (I dont think it is scenery related as I never had a problem with older versions of EFB)

I want to insert the SID into my flightplan from EDDF to LOWW but the "SET FPL" stays grayed out.
Inserting the Arrival at LOWW was no problem. The sim is not running when I trie it.

I had the same problem, I configured the PORT 13 with an outbound rule and finally was able to create the database. But everytime I start the server now it asks me about activating the license and enter my name and mail... I use the Demo at this time.
Do you guys also have to enter it on every start?

I dont know if this is the right bgl... the path is - E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\0601\scenery\APX52140.bgl
I use Flytampa Vienna and the files for it are in the Flytampa folder in my FSX installation, so I think it is not using the right one.
How can I change it? (couldnt find a solution in the manual if the bgl is wrong)

I enjoy the demo of efb so far, but one thing is not working... I already have run the scenery update in the data provider but none of the groundcharts is near to equal with what I see in FSX. Especially in terms of gates and parkings.
I have efb pointed to FSX scenery.cfg and runned the scenery update several times. I tried with payware airports (such as flytampa LOWW, Aerosoft EDDH...) and freeware airports from avsim.
Any hints?
